Dulux® Acratex® Venetian Plaster™ is an artisan range of products hand crafted to create a style unique to each piece of work.

It is recommended that a site sample be applied by the craftsman who will complete the job to assess the product, colour, technique and finishing waxes and sealers.

Suitability

Venetian Plaster is ideal for interior, feature areas, retail environment, cafes and restaurants, reception areas, office spaces and columns. Not recommended for exterior use.

Surface Preparation (General)

All surfaces must be clean and dry, free of all containments including dirt, dust, grease or release agents, mould or algae. Remove any loose material and patch imperfections with a Dulux® AcraTex® approved filling material to the required standard to accept the specified finish.

Priming & Finishing Sealers & Waxes

Dulux® Acratex® Venetian Plaster is designed for use in Dulux® Acratex® recommended systems using the specified Primer, Sealer and/or Wax for optimum performance.

Colour Tinting

It is the responsibility of the applicator to check the purchased colour and ensure adequate quantity to complete the job in one purchase. If two or more containers are used on a single surface, cross mix or “box” the containers to ensure colour uniformity. Owing to the materials natural composition and application process, resupply of colour and/or application at a later date may result in invariability.

Precautions

Ensure the correct primer and finishing sealer/wax is used for optimum performance.

Avoid use in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces – Plan applications in the cool of the day. Do not apply in hot windy conditions or where air or surface temperatures may fall below 10°C during the drying period.

Clean Up

Clean equipment in water immediately after use.

Application Techniques

This product is designed for application by applicators experienced in the art of Venetian Plaster in accordance with Dulux® Acratex® specifications and procedures described in the relevant DuSpec® Product Data and System Specification sheets.
