Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions you may have about Venetian Plaster.
Venetian Plaster can be applied on ceilings and walls in dry areas. This includes foyers, bedrooms, studios, living rooms etc… It is not recommended on horizontal surfaces like benchtops and floors, and it should never be applied on vertical surfaces such as splashbacks, showers alcoves and all external applications.
All white base Venetian Plaster products including Modello, Tonachino, Marmorino Naturale, Marmorino Fine and Polished Stucco can be tinted in 80+ colours

No, the different raw materials used for paint absorb pigments quite differently therefore the same tint formula will appear inconsistent when applying Venetian Plaster.
Wax enhances the colour and provides water repellency for residential use, while a film former sealer provides a stronger protection in high traffic areas which are usually found in commercial buildings.
The natural beauty of Venetian Plaster will last longer than 10 years. After this time the finish may become dull and will require an additional coat of soap or wax to bring the finish back to its original state. In high traffic areas this may be required sooner.
We recommend using cleansing milk (diluted with 50% warm water) or warm soapy water. All other cleaning detergents must be bleach-free and PH7 neutral.
