Course Overview
The training course will introduce you to becoming a Venetian Plaster Craftsman. By completing this course and you will be joining an elite group of craftsmen who are supported and mentored by Dulux AcraTex, allowing you to ply your trade with the confidence required to create the unique finishes which have given Venetian Plaster by Dulux AcraTex national recognition.
The two day training course will take you through the history of this Lime Based product, its technical capabilities and application idiosyncrasies. You will have a good grounding in understanding the types of substrates that are suitable, and when and where to apply the products to achieve the most visually captivating finish.
Course Detail
Our training program includes theory and practical components covering all aspects of the coating system, including:
- History of Lime based plaster products
- Preparation of traditional substrates
- The importance of applicator technique and site hygiene
- Product Application
- Technical data and practical applications of sealers and waxes
- Ongoing technical and training support can be accessed thereafter.
